  6. Description : This fully customizable calendar features notes, 
  7. tasks, alarms, and displays its data on your desktop through 
  8. blending with existing wallpaper. You can organize your data in 
  9. layers and share them with other people on a local area network. 
  10. The program can integrate with Outlook to show its appointments 
  11. and tasks on the desktop. There are options for changing calendar 
  12. icons, fonts and colors, marking weekdays of choice and marking 
  13. dates with notes and/or alarms. You can have a text only version 
  14. of the calendar and choose between displaying one, two or three 
  15. months on the desktop. Recurrence patterns are available for both 
  16. notes and alarms. An alarm can be stand alone or attached to a note. 
  17. If interactive desktop option is enabled, the program accepts direct 
  18. clicks on dates, notes and tasks displayed on the desktop. You can 
  19. set each note to normal, private or invisible desktop view. Private 
  20. notes are displayed as generic text reminder and invisible notes 
  21. are not displayed at all. Printing calendar data is easy and 
  22. includes an option to choose date range for printing notes. 
  23. Special desktop pictures option allows you to add some of your 
  24. pictures to existing desktop background. For importing and 
  25. exporting calendar data the program supports iCal and comma 
  26. separated values CSV formats. Tablet PC users should not worry 
  27. as the program detects desktop orientation changes automatically. 
  28. Finally, Active Desktop Calendar comes with world clock screen 
  29. saver that shows your computer's system time, plus five major time 
  30. zones around the world.
